Tomato Soup Recipe: The Traditional Tomato Soup with a Touch of Asia
A tomato soup recipe is one way to make great appetizers before
having the main course. Many variations of tomato soup appetizers are
cooked differently in several countries depending on their culture and
preferences. The traditional tomato soup dishes is composed plainly by
tomato, seasoning, and vegetable ingredients in which is preferred more
likely by Americans and even Europeans.

would like. Asian countries are one of the majority consumers of tomato
soup dishes since many Asians love to eat soup dishes
 especially during
the cold season since sipping soup during a cold climate is one way to
warm up the body. One example of a tomato soup dishes that Asians prefer
is the chicken tomato soup recipe in which is an innovation to the
traditional and plain tomato soup recipe. In this appetizer, chicken
balls are added into the soup to influence the taste of the tomato soup
with the touch of chicken flavoring. Mixing oriental noodles to the
tomato soup is one way to make the soup a lot more exciting to eat thus
making the soup the main course of the meal.
Here is one good Asian recipe that can be made at home. The ingredients
on the other hand are available in the local market. In addition, when
the ingredients are not available, alternative ingredients such as
instant noodles can be used when egg noodles are not available in the
market.
Chicken Balls Tomato Soup Appetizer
Ingredients:
100 grams ground chicken
½ cup soft bread crumbs
¼ cup chopped green onions
1 piece egg
½ tablespoon salt
½ tablespoon ground pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
½ cup chopped onions
¼ cup chopped tomatoes
½ cup chopped carrots1/4 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped cabbage
2 pieces chicken broth cubes dissolved in 8 cups of water
100 grams of egg noodles

Cooking instructions:
Combine the 100 grams ground chicken together with ½-cup soft
breadcrumbs, ¼ cup chopped breadcrumbs, egg, ½-tablespoon salt and
pepper. Mix them all well and then set aside.
Heat olive oil in a cooking pot in a low flame. Sauté garlic and onions
until well cooked then add the chopped tomatoes.
When the tomatoes are well cooked, add the celery, cabbage and the
carrots. Mix them well together for at least five minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth mixture and leave to boil. Increasing the
flame of the burner is one way to make boiling much faster.
Form the ground chicken mixture into one tablespoon of chicken balls and
add to the boiling broth.
When the chicken broth has started to boiled, add the 100 grams of egg
noodles and wait until the noodles softened.
Best serve while hot. |
